The Leader Advancement Scholarship is a scholarship at Central Michigan University through the Leadership Institute. Each year it is awarded to 40 high school seniors who were involved in different things in high school. It is unique because it doesn’t look at grades or standardized test scores.
I was very fortunate to be awarded the scholarship in 2014. Now I live with my cohort in Barnes Hall, take leadership infused courses, get a mentor who helps me with everything, and get a close bond with the Leadership Institute.
